Schedules for the next round of playoffs have been posted. We have 1 outstanding match in NA that is preventing us from scheduling 1 match so far. That match is expected to be completed today and we will schedule that match as soon as we can. Schedules for the rest of the teams and playoff brackets can be found here.
Round 1 map: Hollywood (played in Mirror Mode) - This means 2 full playthroughs of the map (compared to our normal 1 playthrough). Each team will get at least 2 chances to Attack and 2 chances to defend. Teams will alternate who gets to attack first in each playthrough. The Home team has choice whether to attack first or defend first in the first playthrough. At the end of each playthrough, whichever team has won will receive 1 match point. If after 2 playthroughs the match is tied 1-1, proceed to the tie breaker map.
Tie breaker map (if needed): Nepal (played with CONTROL GAME MODE FORMAT = BEST OF 1) - Whichever team wins this map will receive 1 additional match point.
Possible match scores: 2-0 or 2-1
Example Match for Round 3:
a.) Hollywood 1st playthrough: Team A chooses to attack first and caps all 3 points. Team B attacks next and only caps first point. Team A gets 1 match point.
b.) Hollywood 2nd playthrough: Team B gets to attack first and all 3 points. Team A attacks next and only caps the first and second point. Team B capped more this playthrough and therefore gets 1 match point. Match is tied 1-1. Proceed to tie breaker.
c.) Nepal tie breaker (BO1): Team A wins the round and receives 1 match point. Team A has won the match 2-1.
